With its release, Astell&Kern has expanded the potential of the SE180 once again.SEM4, born from the key concept of ‘Shape Your Sound’ is equipped with the AK4493SEQ dual DAC, the latest DAC from Asahi Kasei, which minimizes loss and noise interference from the original sound while offering 14 hours of playback performance — the longest among SEM modules.
SEM4 supports up to 32bit/768kHz, Native DSD512 and you will be able to enjoy even more vivid, original sound with the introduction of digital audio remaster (DAR) technology.

Astell&Kern has introduced a new product design that cleverly incorporates a high-performance amplifier into a player for a perfect merger of two independent devices. &nssp;Supporting the output of 7Vrms when connected via high-gain balanced output, the KANN not only drives high-impedance headphones without an additional amplifier, but also reliably reproduces high-quality sound with low-impedance speakers.
The KANN is capable of bit-to-bit playback up to 32-bit 384kHz and native DSD playback up to 11.2MHz, delivering detailed, distortion-free sound just as the artist intended.

The AK Recorder is the first portable recorder product in the world that supports DSD 5.6MHz recording. While many expensive, professional products typically support up to 24-bit/192kHz recording, the AK Recorder provides support for DSD 5.6MHz recording for a proper recording of original sound.
With the support of DSD 5.6MHz recording you will be able to record each and every second of a live music recording in DSD 5.6MHz format, the format closest to analog in terms of quality.
